After 3 iterations a neat curatorial concept for Skye at the Mills residential development has been finalized. Built on the site of a the Goodman Flour mill, the artwork plays on the concept of the industrial midden with forms of millstones and silos built as gabion baskets. The custom made baskets will be filled with a layered mix of site materials, including the foundations of the old mill, and other interpretive ceramic objects made by an artist. Ceramicists Yasmin Smith and Michael Keighery are to prepare concepts due in February.
