Playful and bold, artist Jane Cavanough’s abstracted corten kangaroos, have been selected by the client as a bit of fun for their commercial development in Ryde;
The artist states
“ my urban sculpture synthesises the traditional and modern, combining abstracted form and materials that connect to the landscape and architectural contexts. Tensions are generated as the iconic tapers become clarified, and the viewer is left with a epitaph for OUTPOSTS of the original bushland that once extended from the Lane Cove River to Macquarie Park”
