New client John Holland has engaged Publicart Works to plan and deliver artwork for stage 2 of their ambitious Macquarie Market Place. A public art plan submitted as part of their DA dug into a largely unknown and curious international acclaim of the Granny Smith apple – Australia’s iconic gift to the world – which directly inspired the Beatles, Rene Magritte, and Yoko Ono.
